From two different countries and art practices, the collaboration between Mintio from Singapore and Kabul from Indonesia for the project “The Wax on Our Fingers” is not only cross-cultural but also cross disciplinary. For this project, the artists where brought together by a common vision of creating art that is both conceptually critical yet accessible; work that touches communities and opens up minds. The duo started with focusing on the idea of heritage and the possibilities of reviving old practices with new perspectives.
